Pengaruh Yoga terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan Ibu Hamil Trimester III

Kehamilan merupakan masa yang menyenangkan sekaligus penuh tantangan bagi seorang ibu yang disebabkan adanya perubahan fisik, psikologis, dan emosional. Kecemasan dan depresi selama kehamilan hingga satu tahun setelah persalinan merupakan masalah yang sering terjadi, terutama pada trimester III. Kecemasan dalam kehamilan pada negara maju dapat mempengaruhi satu dari 10 wanita sedangkan pada negara berkembang kejadiannya satu dari lima wanita. Kecemasan pada kehamilan dapat diminimalisir melalui yoga dikarenakan karena biaya rendah, mudah untuk dilakukan, dan sangat bermanfaat untuk kebugaran fisik dan psikologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh yoga terhadap kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada ibu hamil trimester III yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 orang pada masing-masing kelompok yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yoga terhadap kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III. Rata-rata skor kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol sebesar 3,77dengan p value 0,000 (p < 0,05). Yoga yang dilakukan secara teratur minimal 2 kali selama 4 minggu dapat meminimalisir kecemasan pada ibu hamil sehingga diharapkan ibu hamil dapat menjadikan yoga sebagai salah satu latihan fisik yang dilakukan secara teratur.
